Here at Stamford Stone at Home, we’re delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted for, not one, but two prestigious national awards. A panel of judges at the Homebuilding & Renovating Awards have entered our submissions into the finals for both categories we entered: Best Flooring Supplier and Best Landscaping Supplier.

The national competition has now been opened up to the general public and we need your help. In order for us to win, we need votes. So we’re urging our customers, our suppliers and anyone who knows the company and our products to vote for us using this link.

“We are absolutely thrilled to have been nominated, particularly as this is the first awards ceremony organised by the best-selling magazine and online site,” explains Laura Green, Director, Stamford Stone (an additional family-owned business to Stamford Stone at Home).

Voting is done online and is quick and simple to do. It only takes a couple of minutes to complete the form. We’re obviously very keen to win to bolster our own reputation, but we also are really keen to get a chance to shine a national spotlight on the outstanding county of Lincolnshire and its wealth of natural resources.

“Our limestone is extracted locally from quarries owned by Stamford Stone. It is a spectacular product and one that we supply exclusively to a global market. Our limestone tiles are universally loved for their timeless elegance and enduring, practical qualities. Each tile is unique; its patination and colour varying slightly, highlighting the wonderful nature of this organic product,” says Laura.

“Stamford Stone at Home is committed to quarrying our stone sustainably, with full replanting and re-landscaping plans at both quarries. 95% of our block stone never travels more than 20 miles to our production site. We harvest and recycle rainwater and our by-products (aggregate and agricultural lime) are reused and recycled,” adds Laura.
