Many period properties often possess existing flagstone floors put down decades sometimes centuries ago. Flagstone flooring was manufactured with hand tools, very different to today, flagstone is a form of sedimentary rock which is well-suited to splitting into flat flooring slabs.

Times have changed machinery and processing of stone has changed although hand crafting new flagstones remains. Often we are asked to match an existing floor or to lay a new floor to replicate a floor of old. This along with honed tiles has become our specialty  Our aged finishes and antique stone finishes can compliment and be in keeping with any period home.
